The central element of the Appreciative logo is a floating iceberg, with most of its volume concealed below the surface. The iceberg is intended to describe the human mind, with its ‘hidden’ unconscious and ‘exposed’ conscious elements.
Both principles are represented by flawless geometric forms, namely the Golden Gnomon and the Golden Triangle. These forms are individually defined by the Golden Ratio (1: 1.618) and are associated in that proportion. As well as embodying aesthetic perfection, their use denotes that workplace psychology strives to realise excellence in both individuals and organisations.
The egg shape enclosing this design is suggestive of growth and creative potential while symbolising the total psyche or mind as conceived by Roberto Assagioli.
